Mahabalipuram beckons you! Join colleagues from around the world to participate in this International Workshop on 'Improving Safety and Health of Small-scale Fishermen: A Bay of Bengal Initiative'. This event, to take place at the Radisson Resort Temple Bay, Mahabalipuram (on the outskirts of Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India, on December 13-14, 2010 will bring together policy makers, commercial investors and current and private donors to support improve the safety and health regime of small-scale fishermen and their families in the countries surrounding the Bay of Bengal Region. This important Workshop aims at strengthening knowledge and understanding, stimulating initiatives and generating action to improve and enhance safety at sea. Your attendance at the Workshop will allow this initiative to move forward and help the fisher community in the region.
