The BOBLME delegation, comprising country representatives and officials from the implementing agencies, visited the State-of-the-art Fisheries Monitoring Centre, located within the Kasetsart University premises in Bangkok.

 

The officials at FMC explained the various activities of the 24x7 centre and the efforts taken by the country to curb IUU and ensure traceability of the catch. They also presented the steps taken by the country to implement FAO's Port State Measures Agreement.

 

The officials also visited the headquarters of SEAFDEC and NACA.
